Last night tragedy struck the United States when deranged gunman Stephen Paddock opened fire at a Las Vegas concert. The attack has claimed the lives of 58 innocent people and injured at least 500 others during the barrage of bullets.
Police are calling this shooting the deadliest in U.S. history, and already the left is foaming at the mouth to politicize it. Between calls for stricter gun control and Republicans for the divisive undertones in the country, families are grieving the senseless loss of their loved one’s lives. So, to honor those lives lost by this unspeakable evil act, President Trump has ordered flags to be flown at half-mast, and of course, the left is fuming.
One would think that in a time of horrific tragedy that political agendas would be dropped for the sake of the country. However, that would be the logical thought process, and the left does not think like that.
Already on social media people with ties to liberalism have already stated that do not feel sorry for the victims since most country music fans are Donald Trump supporters. And, these are the same people that claim they are resisting hate, unbelievable, right?
In an effort to mourn the lives President Trump has ordered American flags around the country to be flown at half-mast.
Trump sent out this presidential proclamation on Monday morning:
Our Nation is heartbroken. We mourn with all whose loved ones were murdered and injured in last night’s horrible tragedy in Las Vegas, Nevada. As we grieve, we pray that God may provide comfort and relief to all those suffering.
As a mark of respect for the victims of the senseless act of violence perpetrated on October 1, 2017, by the authority vested in me as President of the United States by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, I hereby order that the flag of the United States shall be flown at half-staff at the White House and upon all public buildings and grounds, at all military posts and naval stations, and on all naval vessels of the Federal Government in the District of Columbia and throughout the United States and its Territories and possessions until sunset, October 6, 2017. I also direct that the flag shall be flown at half-staff for the same length of time at all United States embassies, legations, consular offices, and other facilities abroad, including all military facilities and naval vessels and stations.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this second day of October, in the year of our Lord two thousand seventeen, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and forty-second.
DONALD J. TRUMP

The speech and his proclamation was incredibly heartfelt and should be respected, but the left is not able to do that. Here is just a sampling of some of the comments found in response to the presidential proclamation.
Hollow gesture from the GOP Leader, still pandering to the NRA. #GunControlNow

No flags at half mast for all those who died in Puerto Rico from the hurricane or from Trump's delayed response.

He is obviously a fan of not taking action in a timely fashion.

It appears that those on the left are so blinded by their rage for President Trump that they are incapable of feeling for victims of this tragedy. In fact, just earlier today a top legal executive at CBS, Hayley Geftman-Gold, said she “is not even sympathetic” for the victims of the shooting at a country music festival in Las Vegas on Sunday night. Thankfully, soon after these vile posts were discovered CBS network made the choice to let her go.
Here is more from Fox News:
“This individual, who was with us for approximately one year, violated the standards of our company and is no longer an employee of CBS. Her views as expressed on social media are deeply unacceptable to all of us at CBS. Our hearts go out to the victims in Las Vegas and their families,” a CBS spokeswoman told Fox News.
Hayley Geftman-Gold, the network’s now-former vice president and senior counsel, took to Facebook after a gunman opened fire at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival in Las Vegas, killing at least 58 people and sending more than 500 others to hospitals.
“If they wouldn’t do anything when children were murdered I have no hope that Repugs [sic] will ever do the right thing,” Geftman-Gold wrote in a now-deleted message that was first reported and captured by The Daily Caller.
Geftman-Gold continued: “I’m actually not even sympathetic bc [sic] country music fans often are Republican gun toters [sic].”
There are really no words for this type of behavior especially in light of such an egregious attack. No one deserves to be gunned down for their political beliefs at all, and for these people to continue this hateful rhetoric is disgusting. It is time, heck it is beyond the time to put this division to bed and to come together as Americans. No one is saying that you have to love President Trump but you can respect him since he is the leader of America.
